The Crash Course Chemistry series is an extensive introduction to the subject organized more or less like a high-school chemistry textbook.
In "So You Think You Hate Chemistry !?" 2022 version, I might assign and/or present a few of these. If you like the series, watch as many as you like, and submit questions about things that interest you, even if they are not exactly "on the subject" of class content. At the beginning of each class, I will try to tackle a few of your questions on any subject that involves chemistry. These Q & (maybe)A sessions will guide me in developing the course as we go along.
Episodes generally build on each other, but if you see a title that interests you, skip to it and watch it. You'll get some insights, and will probably learn what questions you need to ask and what gaps you need to fill in. If you really hated chemistry in high school, this series might remind you why. For most people, it was "word problems" and mathematical problem-solving that drove them away.
These videos move quickly, but remember, you can back up and repeat things, you can pause the video to look longer at illustrations, you can even slow down the playing speed.
